About Us

Ebenezer Christian College, an initiative of the Ebenezer Foundation, is committed to providing a safe and nurturing environment for children, guided by principles rooted in Christian faith. As a child-safe organisation, we prioritise the well-being and development of every student entrusted to our care.

Central to our educational philosophy is the belief that life should be viewed through the lens of God's revelation, as articulated in the Bible. We believe the Bible as the ultimate authority and final word on matters of faith, truth, and practice. Our overarching goal is to honour God through every aspect of our education program.

While we value parental involvement and input, it's important to note that Ebenezer Christian College is not a parent-controlled institution. Instead, the direction and values of the school are determined by the Foundation board in collaboration with the School Principal. This collaborative approach ensures consistency in our mission and vision, guiding us in fulfilling our commitment to provide “Quality Education with a Biblical Difference.”

Furthermore, we believe that education serves a dual purpose: to equip students with the necessary knowledge and skills to thrive as honourable, hard-working members of society, while also nurturing their spiritual growth and understanding. Our educational objective is to integrate Godly wisdom with the various subjects taught, ensuring that every aspect of our curriculum and school policies align with the Word of God.

Statement of Faith

We believe in The Bible

The Bible is our final authority in all matters of faith, truth and practice (2 Timothy 3:16-17). We believe the Bible to be the revealed Word of God preserved throughout the ages by His divine providence. Our approach to education is rooted in instilling a reverence for God and a deep understanding of His teachings. As Proverbs 1:7 asserts, "the fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge." 

We believe in The Trinity

We believe that there is one God in three distinct persons: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Each person of the Trinity has individual identity and separate responsibilities, yet is perfectly united as three Persons in One (Deuteronomy 6:4;1 Timothy 1:7).

We believe in Salvation through Jesus Christ

We believe Jesus Christ as the singular Saviour of humanity. We believe that He lived a perfect and sinless life and gave himself willingly as a sacrifice for man’s sin. Through His selfless sacrifice on the cross, He bore the weight of humanity's transgressions, offering forgiveness and eternal life to all who accept Him as their Saviour (Romans 3:10-23).

At the core of our faith is the acknowledgment of Jesus Christ as the ultimate source of salvation. His death, burial and resurrection represent the pinnacle of God's love and mercy, providing a pathway for humanity to be redeemed and restored to a harmonious relationship with God.

“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God, not of works, lest any man should boast”.

Our Goals

Ebenezer Christian College is an extension of the home. The School provides a strong Christian education for all students, and is committed to high standards of academic excellence and Christian character. The objective of the School is found in Proverbs 22:6:

“Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.”

Ebenezer Christian College offers enrolment opportunities for students from Kindergarten through Year 10, providing a comprehensive curriculum that blends the strengths of ACE (Accelerated Christian Education) with traditional classroom teaching methodologies. With over 1,000 homes and Christian schools in Australia already benefiting from the ACE program, our integration approach ensures students receive a well-rounded education addressing their academic, social, and spiritual needs.

In the Lower Primary years, students benefit from the solid foundation laid by the ACE curriculum, enabling them to master core subjects' fundamentals. This educational base is further enriched by the creative and engaging teaching and learning enhancing productive experiences for all students.
