Permission to attend an off campus excursion – Stages 4 and 5: United Blacktown Bootcamp Gym, 18th of November 2016 (Friday)

This excursion is intended for this specific group of students as part of enhancing their learning. This excursion relates to the students’ learning in PDHPE.

This term, students from both Stage 4 and Stage 5 have been learning to identify a range of different forms of physical activities and the benefits it provides to their overall health and fitness. This excursion will allow students to participate in different forms of physical activities (circuit training, group challenges and boxing classes) that engage and enhance their levels of physical health and fitness.

United Bootcamp Gym has a standard pre-screening form which informs the gym instructor of the student's brief medical history. This allows a better understanding of each student's health and fitness levels in order for them to cater a program that addresses any medical needs or limitations.

A risk assessment has been made prior to the conduct of this excursion and potential hazards are also discussed and addressed.
