Dress Up as a Book Character Day

In celebration of The Children's Book Council of Australia's Book Week, students at ECC are invited to dress up as one of their favourite book characters on Wednesday the 22nd of August. Although we encourage student participation this event is not mandatory.

Dress Up Guidelines

Students are to arrive and depart from school in their everyday uniform. Costumes are only to be worn at school.

Costumes do not need to be elaborate or overly complicated! Especially for our younger students who are not able to dress themselves, we encourage parents who wish for their child to participate that they choose simple costumes that their child will find easy to put on themselves and/or just go over their school uniform.

Attire must be modest, appropriate and God-pleasing. Students will be asked to change back into their school uniform if their costumes are revealing, excessively tight or displaying inappropriate words or images.
