The ConocoPhillips Science Experience at University of Technology, Sydney from October 31st – 2nd of November 2017

This term we have an opportunity for our Year 10 students to experience university life through The ConocoPhillips Science Experience at the University of Technology, Sydney. 

During these three days, your child will experience what it is like to be a UTS student as they participate in various hands-on and fun science, maths, and technology activities and explore some of the hottest topics in forensic science, physics & nanotechnology, environmental science, microbiology, engineering & IT and mathematical modelling.

On the first day, students will be accompanied by an ECC staff member in order to show students how to travel to the venue. On the following two days, however, the students will have to make arrangements for travel to and from the university independently.

As registration for this program must be completed by the 1st of October 2017 we will require a confirmation of whether or not your child will be attending before this cutoff date. Students will be given a form that they will need to complete and submit to Miss Martinez for registration. 

More information about the workshops and timetable for the three days will be given closer to the date of the program.

Time: 8:45am – 3pm

Attire: Mufti! Attire should be appropriate, modest and God-pleasing. Students must wear completely closed shoes.

Cost: School will be paying for your child to attend.

In order for students to be permitted to attend the ConocoPhillips Science Experience at University of Technology, Sydney, they must:
- be attired in the correct clothing on the day
- have submitted registration forms
- have submitted permissions
