Permission to attend an off campus excursion - Stage 4 Taronga Zoo, 23rd of May, 2017 (Tuesday)
The excursion is intended for this specific group of students as part of enhancing their learning in the different Key Learning Areas as follows:
Science –Stage 4 students will be enhancing their knowledge and understanding of the classification of living things learnt throughout the term in their everyday contexts .
Visual Arts- This term, students from Stage 4 are learning about printmaking, ceramics and drawing with the main focus on living things, including plants and animals. Students will be using the animals seen at the Taronga zoo as inspiration for their artwork for both of these units throughout this term.
A risk assessment has been made prior to the conduct of this excursion and potential hazards are also discussed and addressed.
Transport on the day will be via school bus to and from the venue. ·

Cost: $14.50 Please make full payment on or before Wednesday, 22nd of May, 2019
Assembly: ECC, 441 Blacktown Road, Prospect, NSW 2148
Departure: 8:45am (We need to leave on time!)
Arrival: Returning to school grounds by 3pm
Transport on the day will be via school bus.
WHAT TO BRING / WEAR
UNIFORM :Sports Uniform
FOOD & DRINK : Please provide food for your child for the day, however, the students may bring money as there are food services within the zoo premises.
EQUIPMENT : Notepad + pen/pencil

In order for students to be permitted to attend the excursion, they must:
Be attired in the correct clothing on the day.
Have submitted payment for the excursion.
